art direction & identity

Every now and again a project comes along that feels less like work, and more like play. Setting up and art directing a photo shoot while eating free pizza all day with photographers, Doug Barlow and Jeremy Bechthold happens to be one of those projects. We gathered fresh ingredients, white ramekins, pizza peels, and lots and lots of flour. The dramatic lighting added just enough contrast to make you want to eat a slice of pizza right out of the photo. While we were at it, we tackled the redesign of the logo by updating the typeface and nixing the clip art. We defined a brand that is playful and reminiscent of a vintage pizzeria. And that's just tasty.
